Xfuel for Gamers launched by New Jersey teenagers Alex Gere, Austin Gere and Nick Panes

The Jersey Boys do it again! Teenaged brothers Alex Gere and Austin Gere along with their friend Nick Panes launch Xfuel, the energy drink for Gamers…by Gamers.

Together with their respective fathers, Joe Gere and Howie Panes who’s About Me Labs is changing the face of the dietary supplement business, the boys launched a new 2 oz energy shot dubbed Xfuel. It promises to give new meaning to phrase "Take it to the Next Level" by increasing your energy, awareness, focus and stamina - all the things Gamers need to defeat their competition. Alex Gere whose tutorial videos on You Tube served as the inspiration for the new product agrees, "I can use some extra energy at times. Games can be both physically and mentally exhausting. My brother and I at times are in the top 100 players in the world on Guitar Hero, it’s not as easy as people think. You don’t just sit there, you need to stand and work it like a real guitar on stage."

With the advent of on-line game systems such as Xbox LIVE and 360, the playing field has become more competitive than ever. Gamers no longer just play against a software program, they actually play against other Gamers LIVE from around the globe within the program. Gamers can have friends from half way around the world to play against and sometimes you just don’t have the energy to stay up late into the early morning hours and defeat them. The elder Gere was quoted in saying, "I was against these game systems at first, I saw them as a way for my own children to remove themselves from the outside world, stop interacting with people. These new live games systems are far from that, my children talk non stop with people from literally around the world. They’ve learned how to work with diverse groups of people, to communicate, resolve differences and work as a team in games such as Gears of War. I was wrong, these games are fantastic building blocks for going out into today’s world."

The ingredients of Xfuel, although somewhat guarded, appear to be healthier than those of traditional Gaming snacks like soda and chips. Xfuel is packed with Vitamins B2, B3, B5, B6 and 500% of your daily allowance of Vitamin C and contains only 4 calories. Howie Panes is a 20 year plus veteran in the health and fitness field operating How-Fit in Livingston NJ for the past 17 years, he stated, "Our company About Me Labs is exactly what the name implies, it’s about you (or ME when your looking in the mirror) and we are all about bringing good quality products to the marketplace at ultra affordable prices. I feel Xfuel fits a niche in today’s society with newer games like Wii Fit. I believe Xfuel can give you the energy to achieve while your fitness goals while in the comfort of your own home!" Although Panes was quick to point out that video games will never take the place of a professional trainer, there is no reason you couldn’t take Xfuel before you came to real brick and mortar fitness center.

When will be Xfuel will available? The boys are hoping for a March 1st launch and for now, Xfuel will only be available on-line directly at www.xfuelforgamers.com. To learn more go to their website and remember "Winners get more than….Losers"
